PRESENT Podiatric Residency Education Summit

The PRESENT Residency Education Summits East and Midwest are being combined into one master summit to be held live in-person at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, conveniently located in the New York City metropolitan area, August 11-13, 2023. Dr Harold Schoenhaus, Conference Chairman, joins Drs Marie Williams, and Robert Frykberg, as the Co-chairs. The PRESENT Podiatric Residency Education Summit is a surgical and wound care conference designed especially for Podiatric Residents, Residency Directors, Podiatric Attendings at our nation’s teaching hospitals, and Podiatrists who are in private practice or outpatient clinic based. The goal of this conference is to bring surgical Residents and other healthcare members of our residency community at Podiatric Residency Programs to a regional conference designed especially to best meet their surgical and medical educational needs. A cutting-edge lecture program will be presented covering surgery, wound care, and podiatric medicine. Attendees will also participate in state-of-the-art rotating interactive workshops, focusing on advanced technologies that provide Residency Directors, Residents and Podiatrists in practice with hands-on practical experience to advance your skills and patient outcomes. We also run a Faculty Development Workshop for the Residency Directors at the Residency Education Summit East to provide you with the faculty development course that directors need to fulfill the CPME 320 requirement.

Superbones Superwounds Virtual Fall

October 21-22, 2023

The largest attended Superbones Superwounds West (SBSWW) Conference took place virtually October 22-23 in cyberspace, affirming that podiatrists continue to like virtual conferences even after the COVID risk has diminished. At almost 700 attendees, attendance at this event eclipsed the largest attended virtual SBSWW by over 200 attendees and the largest live SBSWW by almost 400 attendees. In the post-event survey, 98.5% of attendees said they would like to attend a similar event again in the future and would recommend the event to their colleagues. Hundreds of testimonials, comments, and suggestions for future topics were submitted. Conference Chairman Harold Schoenhaus, DPM and Co-Chairs Robert Frykberg, DPM, MPH, Thomas Serena, MD, Stanley Kalish DPM and a brilliant faculty delivered a virtual education program that was uniformly praised by attendees. PRESENT e-Learning Systems remains committed to continuing to produce the SBSWW conference and others virtually into the future in addition to their in-person events.

Desert Foot

The Live In-Person Desert Foot Multi-Disciplinary Limb Salvage and Wound Care Conference returns to Phoenix, Arizona at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, November 30 - December 3, 2022, after being PRESENTed virtually for the last 2 years. The renowned lecture program will be taught by some of the finest teachers in podiatry and will be focused on evidence-based, best practices to improve limb salvage techniques, advanced wound care skills, and treat surgical and medical disorders of the lower limb. The conference provides a great opportunity for you to learn along with a large part of the federal service wound care and surgical community, as well as hundreds of healthcare professionals in acute care, home care, and the private sector. The conference brings together six major groups involved with limb salvage preservation of the lower extremity, from healthcare clinicians in the private sector, the Veterans Administration, VA Podiatric Residency Directors, Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC), Arizona Podiatric Medical Association, and the Department of Defense from across the country. The most unique part of the conference is the rotating interactive hands-on workshops, focusing on advanced technologies that provide our attendees with hands-on practical experience and training on surgical procedures, advanced wound care, and new techniques in healing the lower extremity that you will bring back to your offices to begin using on Monday morning. The traditional poster/abstract competition will take place, so begin preparing your contribution for all attendees to see. PRESENT Treasure Hunt

PRESENT e-Learning Systems brought their unique CME conference format to the 37-year-old Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association (LACPMA) Treasure Hunt Conference, doubling the attendance and adding 12 hours of CME and hands-on workshops to the traditionally-oriented practice management meeting. Program Co-Chairmen Harold Schoenhaus, DPM, Robert Lee, DPM, and Gabriel Halperin, DPM collaborated to design an innovative program of podiatric surgery, medicine, and woundcare.
